2011 has dawned and the mystique and aura of Led Zeppelin has remained in our psyches, the legend and the music retaining a stranglehold on succeeding generations of rock fans who had not yet been born when the original band disbanded back in 1980, whose parents played the music that has remained timeless to this very day.

Classic rock radio stations still highlight the classic Moby Dick from Led Zeppelin II as one of the VERY few drum solo songs they play in rotation, and renditions of their classics pop up in collegiate band performances and sporting events worldwide.

The band members themselves have drifted in and out of the scene in the recent past, with John Paul Jones joining Them Crooked Vultures and Robert Plant is currently touring the US in a reincarnated “Band of Joy”, the first band he played in with the deceased John Bonham before they joined Led Zeppelin. Even Jason Bonham, son of John and accomplished drummer in his own right , went on the road for the “Led Zeppelin Experience” this last fall, featuring a retrospective of his memories of growing up with a rock legend that highlighted unseen family photos and videos and showcased Jason playing John’s drum kit with a video backdrop of his dad as they played the same drum licks on classic Led Zeppelin songs, covers of tunes reproduced with precision by a top notch band.

It has been rumored that Jimmy Page is readying a CD of new music for release in 2011 and will be touring to support it, but as of press time there is no verification of this, his buddy and fellow Yardbird Jeff Beck recently won 3 Grammys in various categories for instrumental pursuits and reminded us all yet again that the 60′s were the magical time when the master musicians emerged and remain to this very day at the top of their game, including Led Zeppelin, who formed in 1968.

As we enter the 30th year since the untimely death of John Bonham at the tender age of only 32 years old, We at Led Zeppelin tickets.com are proud to offer the authentic tickets preprinted for what was to become the LAST thing the original would ever do in a stunning 30th Anniversary presentation, the tickets whose destiny was manifested on the very day of Bonham’s death on September 25th 1980, and due to a unique set of circumstances that created the opportunity to legitimately purchase the entire quantity of this authentic collectible to create one of the very few ORIGINAL and affordable memorabilia pieces of this iconic band from the day, the last day of their illustrious history as it sadly turned out.

We are also proud to have passed the high threshold of proof of authenticity and clarification from the Guinness World Book of Records and were awarded the World record for purchasing the most unused tickets to a concert that never happened by an individual in September 2010, for a transaction for the original memorabilia tickets that was made way back in Dec 1986.

It is indeed ironic that Led Zeppelin themselves won the Guinness World Record for the most demand for a one time live musical event for the Dec 10, 2007 benefit concert for Ahmet Eretegun in London at the O2 arena when 20 million people vied for 18,000 seats, further proof of the INCREDIBLE demand for anything Led Zeppelin.

As the original ticket inventory dwindles with time, it is apparent that the demand for this iconic band remains timeless and one is reminded that the key components to a true collectible that will escalate in value include all of the advantages we offer in our products, advantages which include impeccable provenance and proof of authenticity, and limited supply for a GROWING demand worldwide as time goes on.

It is rare to have the opportunity to buy original memorabilia with such a story attached to it and we are proud to offer it to you.

Ramble on
Respectfully
